The winners of the 2013 Florida Film Festival were announced at the Awards Brunch on Saturday, April 13th at the Enzian Theater. Here are the winners as they were announced that morning. Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary Short was Skate Yrself Clean, which is the directorial work of Florida actress Janna Jude Brown and produced by Florida native Leigh Wulff.
Asad, Directed by Bryan Buckley. Special Jury Award for Outstanding Narrative Short
My Name is Your First Love, Directed by Rob Richert. Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Short.
Backyard Jam, Directed by Randall Christopher. Grand Jury Award for Best Animated Short.
Skate Yrself Clean, Directed by Janna Jude Brown. Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary Short.
Things You Don't Joke About, Directed by Viet Nguyen. Audience Award for Best Short Film.
Shepard & Dark, Directed by Treva Wurmfeld. Special Jury Award for Outstanding Documentary Directing.
Far Out Isn't Far Enough: The Toni Ungerer Story, Directed by Brad Bernstein. Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature.
Big Joy: The Adventures of James Broughton, Directed by Eric Slade, Stephen Silha, Dawn Logson. Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary Feature.
This is Where We Live, Directed by Josh Barret & Marc Menchaca. Special Jury Award for Best Ensemble Cast.
The Forgotten Kingdom, Directed by Andrew Mudge. Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature.
This is Martin Bonner, Directed by Chad Hartigan. Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Feature.
