If you are wanting to jump start your acting career, may we suggest taking an improv course. Your Orange County Library System offers a free 8 week Improv One series that starts Sunday, February 9th from 2-4pm.
The class is taught by a Melrose Performing Arts Instructor. In addition to making you a more flexible actor, the skills acquired in the series may also help at your day or night job with learning team building, leadership and communications.
The course wants you to gain the confidence to listen, react authentically, perform without a script, writing, directing, and editing the performance as you go. The course is for ages 14+ to adult. It is recommended you take Theatre 101 as a prerequisite.
