10 Years of Global Peace Film Festival

Running September 17th through 22nd, the Global Peace Film Festival has been utilizing the power of motion picture to further the goal of peace on earth for ten years. The festival includes narrative and documentary films as well as panel discussions.
There are 5 panel discussions. Some are film themed and others are based on faith and race issues. The panels are free with the exception of the Interfaith Dialogue panel that accompanies the screening of Take Me Home on September 23rd. Fabian Morales-Botero's Take Me Home is an Orlando-based documentary about homelessness.
Film related panels are Peace Pitch - Developing An Impact Campaign For Your Film on September 19th and Making Films That Make A Difference on September 20th.
Venues are mainly in Winter Park and Orlando including Rollins College, Valencia College, Winter Park Library, Plaza Cinema Cafe, and Mad Cow Theatre. Tickets for the films are $8. For a full schedule, go to www.peacefilmfest.org.
