7 Lives of Chance at Daytona Beach Film Festival
(released
Thursday, November 7, 2013)
By Douglas Lorah
The Daytona Beach Film Festival runs November 7th through the 11th with most of the screenings taking place over the weekend.
The festival is pulling some larger festival fare like Cutie & the Boxer as well as some local talent such as 7 Lives of Chance.
7 Lives of Chance is a feature created by the Banks Helfrich, a mainstay of the Orlando film scene. Banks brings a quirky form of storytelling to the screen. His films are always fun to watch and definitely pieces of art.
7 Lives includes a musical score created by Cirque du Soleil La Nouba's band leader Benoit Glazer.
And the hallmark of any Orlando production is the acting of John Archer Lundgren. If he is on screen, it is more pronounced that you made your film in Orlando than having the SunTrust Building in your establishing shot.
7 Lives of Chance plays Sunday, November 10th at 3:30pm at the City Island Ballroom at 110 E. Orange Avenue in Daytona Beach. Single admission tickets are $9.
