Local actor/producer Todd Thompson, a principal of Central-Florida based independent movie production company Stars North, just returned from the Screen Gems Studios in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he taped an episode of Dawson's Creek.
Thompson plays an EMT paramedic who arrives on the scene with actor Kendrick Cross (at right) to help revive "Andie" (played by actress Meredith Monroe), who has just overdosed on the drug Ecstacy at a local rave party. The episode, "Great Xpectations," is scheduled to air November 8th on the WB (local Time Warner Cable channel 18, WKCF).
"It was such a blast working with the cast and crew of Dawson's Creek." Thompson explains. James (Van Der Beek), Josh (Jackson), Michelle (Williams), Katie (Holmes) and the gang were great and it was nice to have the opportunity to work on screen for a change, especially after spending so much time behind the camera lately."
Thompson, with partner Balinda DeSantis, is currently in development on the company's first full-length feature film, Shooting Blanks which is slated to film in Orlando.
