Burt Reynolds Opens Ft Lauderdale Film Festival

Filmmaker Adam Rifkin's film Dog Years will open the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Hard Rock Live. The cast includes Burt Reynolds, Ariel Winter, Clark Duke, Ellar Coltrane, Nikki Blonsky, and Chevy Chase. The film screening and red carpet will include special guests Burt Reynolds, director Adam Rifkin, and Nikki Blonsky.
The box office is at Savor Cinema and will operate daily throughout the festival that runs from November 3 to 19. Call 954-525-3456 for advance ticket pricing.
There is a special event being held to raise funds and honor lifetime achievement honoree Karen Allen from Animal House. Allen will be honored at a toga party being held Friday, November 18 at Villa De Palma. Karen Allen's directorial debut A Tree, A Rock, A Cloud will screen at 6:30p.m.
Film and food parties, brunches with cultural diversity the likes of Afghan, Chinese, Italian, British, French, Irish, Spanish, Isreali, and Trinidadian themes fill the schedule.
