By Kimberly Burke
Sandra Schulberg, filmmaker and daughter of Stuart Schulberg, will be in attendance for a screening of Nuremberg: Its Lesson for Today, a 2009 Sculberg/Waletzky restoration of the film originally produced by her father. The film will screen at the Naples Daily News Community Room located at 1100 Immokalee Road in Naples. The film takes you inside the Nuremberg Trials.
Filmmaker Stuart Schulberg was a Marine Sergeant, OSS Intelligence officer, filmmaker and part of the OSS team tasked with collecting German made evidentiary films for presentation at the Nuremberg Trials. During the trails, he was working for the Department of Defense and tasked with collecting incriminating footage and film taken inside the court room and compiling it into a feature length documentary. Stuart's daughter Sandra, a noted film producer, restored the film and remastered the vocal track with narration from Liev Schreiber.
The film is free to view on Friday, March 9th at 9am.
