The American Black Film Festival is in Miami Beach on June 13-17, 2018. The festival is known for showcasing film and television content created by and about people of African decent. The festival promotes talent in front of and behind the camera. This is the 22nd annual presentation of the festival since it’s inception in 1997.
This 2018 festival will continue to challenge creation and present Black American filmmakers with industry relevant panels, master classes, ABFF Talks, screenings, and parties.

BET will present: Killer Creativity featuring the industry disruptors.
TURNER will Demystify the Development Process teaching you how to land that development meeting and prepare your material.
NETFLIX will promote the strong black lead focusing on character creation script to screen considering writing tactics and production aspects.
Entertainment attorney Lisa E. Davis will "Unlock the Mystery of Deal Points" in a session discussion on negotiating with distributors, multiple distributors at once, optimal grant of rights, customary payment models, delivery and common asks from the distributors.
Master classes in Film Financing, Nailing an Audition, and Becoming a Show Runner also have tickets available.
