Fred Zara Wins 7th FilmSlam (released Monday, July 9, 2007) By Douglas Lorah The winners of the 7th round of the FilmSlam have been announced. Orlando filmmaker and editor Fred Zara took home first place with Confessions of an Italian American. Second place went to Baseball and Glory by Brett Ryan Bonowicz and third place went to The Sand Magician by Jon Jones. The next FilmSlam will be held Sunday, August 12 at the Enzian Theater in Maitland.
